Employer Accelerator: Skills-Based Hiring for Small and Mid-Sized Businesses

Competing for talent in today’s market can be challenging. Hiring people with the right skills saves businesses time and money. However, many business owners do not know how to align their hiring process to attract candidates with the necessary skills for open roles.
The ACCE Foundation partners with chambers to offer skills-based hiring training directly to employers. We support small and midsize businesses in developing a skills-based job description and interview plan for the roles at their companies. The Employer Accelerator includes live, virtual sessions and 1:1 coaching.
This program allows chambers to offer a tangible solution to local talent challenges without investing significant training time and resources. Businesses get hands-on support in filling in-demand roles. Chambers receive $50 for each local business that participates in the Employer Accelerator.
The next round of the Employer Accelerator launches in September 2025. Learn more and apply by September 5.
