Wilmington Chamber of Commerce (N.C.) President & CEO Natalie Haskins English, CCE, IOM, received the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives 2025 Board Chair's Award during the association's annual meeting on July 23 in Philadelphia.

The award is given annually to an individual or group that has made a significant contribution to the betterment of the chamber profession. ACCE Chair Jim Rooney, president & CEO of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, presented the award.

"I’m pleased to present the 2025 ACCE Board Chair’s Award to Natalie English, a longstanding leader within our association, who supports the ACCE team and the chamber industry," said Rooney. "She’s provided advice and mentorship to countless chamber leaders."

In his remarks, Rooney reflected on English's commitment to ACCE and the profession. He cited her many contributions in the past year, all while her own chamber flourished, taking on major initiatives including a talent pipeline effort that’s been vastly expanded due to its success. In addition to hosting a meeting of her CEO peer group, ACCE’s Major Cities Council, English shared her thought leadership as a presenter in the new Certificate in Chamber Management course on government relations. She also served as chair of ACCE’s Public Opinion poll task force, guiding the direction of the Harris Poll that led to ACCE's landmark new research.
