- The Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Children’s Movement of Florida teamed up to support the reopening of early learning programs that were damaged during Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. They launched the 2024 Florida Early Learning Recovery Fund and set a fundraising goal of $1 million to provide financial assistance to child care providers to help them recover from physical damage, replace lost educational materials and support their workforce.
- The North Carolina Chamber Foundation provided $10,000 grants to five western North Carolina Chambers and chamber foundations that have established business recovery funds in response to Hurricane Helene.
- The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation announced plans to support childcare centers and families in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. The foundation allocated $125,000 toward the cost of tuition payments for the month of October at licensed early childhood development centers throughout Watauga County to ensure stability in the childcare industry while also freeing up cash for families to cover storm-related expenses.
- The Greater Springfield Partnership launched a new capital campaign to raise $6.5 million to support an economic growth plan focused on creating jobs and increasing the housing stock.
- The Tulsa Regional Chamber finalized its 2025 policy priorities through its OneVoice process, an annual collaborative effort that engaged more than 500 people representing hundreds of businesses and more than 75 chambers of commerce, municipalities, counties and economic development organizations.
- The Austin Chamber held a panel discussion to explore how the region is managing rapid population growth and development. Regional leaders are working together to manage the challenges of such rapid growth, including the impact on infrastructure like energy and water.

- Massachusetts awarded more than $170,000 to the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce to expand its commercial driver’s license training programs, addressing a regional shortage of truck drivers.
- The Santa Maria Valley Chamber and the Santa Barbara County Workforce Development Board launched a new program to help address local workforce development challenges. The “Build Your Workforce” program aims to connect businesses with funding resources for hiring, upskilling and providing work experience for employees.
