  • The Michigan West Coast Chamber opened its new headquarters in downtown Holland, Michigan. The new space is designed to be a one-stop shop for businesses, featuring large and small meeting spaces and a career center. 
  • Greater Spokane Inc.’s latest Pulse Survey identified the top concerns of Spokane voters, which continue to be public safety, homelessness and trust in local government.    
  • The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber released its legislative priorities, which include strengthening educational outcomes, investing in transportation infrastructure, expanding attainable housing, improving mental health outcomes and more.   
  • The Arcata Chamber and other regional partners mobilized to support businesses and residents impacted by a devastating fire that destroyed seven downtown businesses. The coalition aims to support recovery, stabilization and long-term rebuilding efforts. 
  • The Galesburg Area Chamber is launching a new launching a new spotlight series, called Heart of the Community, to highlight a local nonprofit organization and showcase the impact it makes in the community.
  • Georgia Chamber President & CEO Chris Clark urged local leaders to start planning now for the explosive growth the state will see during the next 25 years. He outlined five key areas of focus when discussing Georgia’s future: regional prosperity and healthy communities, infrastructure and energy, innovation and entrepreneurship, talent and work force and competitiveness and economic development.
  • The Glendale Chamber’s Military Transition Support Program connects transitioning service members, veterans and military spouses to Glendale Chamber Member Businesses to familiarize them with civilian career opportunities, provide networking and mentorship opportunities and educate them about the differences between civilian vs. military culture.
  • The Kern County Hispanic Chamber will hold a free Small Business Academy next week to give aspiring entrepreneurs and current small business owners valuable resources and expert guidance.
  • The Indiana Chamber, along with other state business groups, united to form the Indiana Alliance for Legal Reform, a new organization seeking state-level civil and tort law reforms. The alliance seeks to maintain the state’s business climate and competitive advantage at a time when competitor states have enacted legal reforms.
  • The Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber announced the acquisition of the Sacramento Speaker Series™, which has become a cornerstone of civic dialogue, featuring some of the most influential voices in politics, culture, thought leadership and more. The chamber takes the helm with a helm with a commitment to honor the program’s legacy while elevating the experience for the community.
