Greater Memphis Chamber plans loans to boost minority firms
The Greater Memphis Chamber will offer forgivable loans two six minority and women-owned businesses that complete an International Organization of Standardization (ISO) certification.
U.S. Chamber supports gender diversity on corporate boards
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has come out in support of the Corporate Leadership Act, proposed by Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.), which would require corporations to report the gender composition of their boards to the SEC.
Not surprisingly, moving the needle on inclusion takes more than a “pro-diversity” stance
This Harvard Business Review article explores the importance of attaching goals and metrics to organizational diversity efforts. Simply hosting trainings or saying a company is inclusive does not necessarily make change, and as the article argues, could even be harmful to the effort.

Division members have asked ACCE to help them create a who's who list for speakers, facilitators and experts on Diversity and Inclusion topics. If you've hired such an individual or organization in the past that you would recommend for use by another chamber, please consider sending us their information. Please send any submissions to Hannah Nequist and include the following information:
- Speaker/contact name and organization
- Contact phone number and/or email address
- Base of operations (which area of the country they hail from)
- Topic areas of expertise
- Program or project for which you used them
