ACCE Government Relations Division Roundtable Meeting

Join your Government Relations peers this November in Little Rock, Arkansas for a day and a half of best practice sharing and network building. This meeting is your chance to connect with and learn from your colleagues from other regional chambers. The agenda will be built around attendee concerns and issues.

Payment & Refund Policy:  Payment is required upon registration. Cancellations received after Nov. 6 are nonrefundable.

9 a.m. Roundtable sessions and guest speakers 
12 p.m. Lunch
1 p.m. Afternoon site visits to LR Tech Park and the Clinton Center 
6:30 p.m. Group dinner, sponsored by the Metro Atlanta Chamber

We will survey registrants to narrow down discussion topics, but here are a few areas that we usually cover:

 - Policies for staff political activity

 - Education and  workforce - early ed, K-12, higher-ed, up-skilling, skills and systems alignment
 - Transportation and infrastructure - roads, transit, energy, water, telecom, airports, rail, ports
 - State and local budgets, pension reform
 - Tax policy and economic development incentives
 - Workplace regulation: wage & leave issues, unemployment insurance, workers’ compensation
 - Health care, Medicaid expansion
 - Other issues: criminal justice reform, housing affordability, access to childcare, marijuana legalization
