Leadership MASTERS is a new signature Greater Decatur Chamber of Commerce program that uniquely fills this need for our community. Growing organizations need every employee to lead effectively from their respective positions in order to grow and remain financially viable. These same organizations often prefer to "promote from within", yet few have any formal structure and process in place to effectively develop leaders for succession, even when current senior leaders are retiring within six months to five years. The current and future prosperity of our local area and each organization in it is linked to the quality of our leaders and the results produced by the people they lead. Unlike other Chamber leadership programs, Leadership Masters involves intensive character and results-based coaching, collaborative learning, and training to develop "bench strength" of future leaders within local businesses, non-profits, and government entities -- influencers at all career stages capable of leading others to produce desired organizational results.
