Introducing Propel: A Mentor/Protege Program - Southwest Indiana Chamber

The Propel Mentor/Protégé Program is a business growth initiative that matches successful second- to fourth-stage businesses with smaller beginning- and first-stage businesses. Following a two-year model, Propel Mentors help “first stage” businesses with between $100,000 and $1 million in revenue (Protégés) build capacity, improve financial literacy, and improve general business acumen. The Propel Mentor/Protégé Program consists of the following: seven-week “boot camp” (a weekly three-hour class covering topics that include general business ownership, mission & vision, cash flow, and marketing); monthly mentor/protégé meetings (two hours per month); and monthly peer-to-peer meetings with other Propel protégés.
