"Come Together" Membership Campaign - Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce

2015 ACE: Award of Excellence

Over 400 attendees -- politicians, business owners and employees, non-profit organizations, school administrators, and even some students -- gathered for the 2015 Annual Meeting of the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce. It was a perfect illustration of “coming together,” a strategic chamber initiative launched in late 2014.

"Grandview Chamber Challenge" Business Makeover - Grandview/Marble Cliff Area Chamber of Commerce

2015 ACE: Award of Excellence

In 2014 Grandview Chamber of Commerce looked to embody its slogan of working together and having each member’s back. Led by Executive Director Michelle Wilson, the chamber started the first-ever Grandview Chamber Challenge. The goal of this unique program was to take a local business that was having a difficult time and, as a chamber, help it achieve success.

2015 ACE: Grand Award

We developed a series of three postcards to be sent to all non-member businesses in our community to support a new communications strategy that included an update of our value proposition, key benefits of membership (identified through a membership survey and predictive modeling analysis) and an environmental assessment. The campaign included a new membership brochure to drive recruitment. It was used on sales calls, displayed in racks, displayed at events, and distributed to new businesses. Images, icons and branding in the brochure will be repeated in future publications and online vehicles. The key messaging of "Learn, Connect, Thrive" become the three key pillars for our organization and communication objectives.

Membership Manual - Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce

2015 ACE: Award of Excellence

The Membership Manual was created out of a need to convey a large amount of information quickly and efficiently. Its predecessor was a 12 page, text-heavy document that was overwhelming at best. We wanted a piece that was eye-catching, yet easy to understand.

2015 Sponsor and Partner Opportunities - O'Fallon Chamber of Commerce

2015 ACE: Award of Excellence

Over the last year the O’Fallon Chamber focused more effort on educating members about what the chamber can do for them and what they can do for their chamber. We do not have a tourism or economic development department, so we rely on member dues and fundraising for income. As we spoke to members, we realized that most of them didn’t know about all of the sponsor and marketing opportunities we had, or how affordable they were. In the past we’ve used various flyers to promote different sponsorships, but it became clear that we needed something more comprehensive to inform and motivate our members.

Health Connect and Private Exchange Implementation: Synopsis - Lubbock Chamber of Commerce

2015 ACE: Award of Excellence

In light of the Affordable Care Act taking effect, the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and FirstCare Health Plans wants to ensure that the Chamber Employer Health Plan remains an affordable and sustainable solution for West Texas businesses now and in the future. The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with partner FirstCare Health Plans conducted an 11-week campaign to promote the new Health Connect and Private Exchange for renewing members of the Chamber Employer Health Plan. The new FirstCare Health Connect portal gave businesses access to 10 new plans, as well as eight existing plans for currently enrolled groups.
