The Vice President for Development will be responsible for the overall leadership of business expansion and retention efforts within the region.
This position will regularly schedule and conduct one-on-one visits with investors to convey the mission, programming and goals of the Shoals Chamber; coordinate the Chamber’s efforts as the leading advocate for the business community at the local, state, and federal levels; and foster and sustain a pro-business climate in the Shoals.
This position is responsible for coordinating Events within the boundaries of Towns County. This position will develop and implement a system of Towns County Chamber of Commerce branded support to enable events held within Towns County to be a success. It works with the President and Board of Directors of the Towns County Chamber of Commerce as well as members and groups to plan, schedule, advertise, execute and monetize events.
This position requires a highly motivated, friendly, and energetic person to perform the Chamber’s front desk responsibilities and assist in the growth and retention of membership. As the first point of contact for visitors to the Chamber, ensure they encounter a friendly, inviting, clean, and orderly environment. As a critical contact for members, be respectful to everyone, offer immediate response to member needs and offer exceptional customer care.
This position is designed to assist the Executive Director of the Venango Area Chamber of Commerce, along with the Chamber Officers, and Board of Directors. The position requires working with Chamber in pursuing, securing, updating, tracking, coordinating, comparing, promoting, and distributing information/data on our various activities.

The CEO reports to the Chair of an eight member Joint Board of Directors from both organizations. This position will coordinate/support the Economic Development team in all initiatives of the Chamber.
The program director will serve in two roles, splitting his or her time between serving as the project director for the Denver Opportunity Youth Investment Initiative and as a workforce intermediary. A key aspect of the project director’s role is to work with the COO of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Denver Opportunity Youth Investment Initiative (DOYII) in the development and execution of new programming and new partnerships for the DOYII. The workforce intermediary aspect of the position is to collaborate with employers and Denver-based organizations to create a strategy that supports opportunity youth into middle-skill, sustainable careers.
