This position works with the communications and marketing team on the development and execution of internal and external Chamber and assigned Affiliate communications and marketing strategies and tactics. This includes development of website content, email newsletters, event, program and membership marketing materials, social media content and media outreach. This position also serves as a communication and marketing representative to Chamber membership, staff, Leadership Foundation alumni and potential program participants and the general public, acting as a knowledgeable resource on events and initiatives of the Chamber and its affiliates.
Working under the supervision of the director of finance, the accounting manager directs the activities of the accounting staff and coordinates the accounting operations of the Chamber based on a daily, monthly and annual basis, accurately recording the revenues, expenditures, assets and liabilities. The accounting manager is responsible for accuracy and timeliness of accounting records and the appropriate design of internal controls.
This position runs from January through June of 2016, and will assist the Public Affairs department with the daily activities of coordinating our Colorado General Assembly vote tracking project, planning and coordinating meetings and special events, assisting with database updates and assisting with press outreach.
