The President is responsible to Board of Directors for a full range of activities, including but not limited to planning, organizing, directing and controlling the Chamber's services, products, economic development and public policy activities for association’s members and responds to the needs of its members within available and agreed upon financial resources. Oversees the affiliate organizations of the GMCC including the Groton Business Association and Greater Mystic Chamber Foundation.
The Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce is recruiting a new Chief Executive Officer. The CEO by authority granted from the Board of Directors, serves as part of the leadership team of the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce along with its affiliate the Convention and Visitors Bureau. This position has the overall responsibility for all programs, planning and operations of the Chamber.
The President works under the authority granted by the Board of Directors to implement the Board's policies and procedures. The president is responsible for all financial, operational, administrative and legal aspects of the daily operations of the chamber. These include but are not limited to budgeting and achieving budgeted targets, public relations, marketing, sound management practices, supervision of paid and volunteer staff, and oversight of all programs and events of the chamber.
Under the direction of the Board of Directors, the President is responsible for the overall management and operation of the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Rochester Regional Chamber Charity Fund. This includes providing leadership to office staff, protecting the organization's financial assets, and ensuring federal/state compliance with both the Board of Directors and applicable grantor.

The President & Chief Executive Officer will report to the board of directors and lead a small team of employees along with Chamber volunteers that work cooperatively to position the business community to take advantage of the rapidly changing economic landscape. The Chamber is looking for a Chief Executive with demonstrated leadership capabilities within an entrepreneurially focused organization geared for growth in influence and profitability. The position requires an individual that can turn strategic opportunities into programs and services that support the members. Additionally, general business knowledge and excellent communication skills are critical to this position.
The President & CEO shall have the overall responsibility for executing the mission of the Chamber of Commerce as it involves program, planning and operations while focusing on the top three priorities: economic development, community development and legislative activities.
The President/CEO will provide high profile leadership, vision, guidance and strategic direction for the programs and personnel of the Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce. The President and CEO will facilitate and lead staff and board efforts to achieve the mission and goals of the Chamber as approved by the Board of Directors. The President and CEO has full P&L responsibility. The President will demonstrate knowledge and expertise on current regional issues, the political environment, marketing and branding concepts, membership sales, public relations, and the opportunities and challenges to the growth and prosperity of large and small employers in the area. The President and CEO will demonstrate openness to ideas from a variety of sources and focus on achieving "best in class" outcomes.
The President will focus on executive leadership in all aspects of the Shoals Chamber of Commerce. The chosen candidate will collaborate with the Board of Directors to oversee and orchestrate the Chamber's major initiatives for regional growth, involvement of key business leaders in the priority issues of the region, promotion of the Shoals region as a leader in business success and economic development, recruiting and retention of young talent to the region, encouragement of minority business success and expansion, community outreach, building and advancing a positive differentiating community image, and more, while coordinating the efforts of a willing, professionally prepared staff and committed volunteer group.
