Vail Valley means business - Vail Valley Partnership

The mountains -- and certainly the Vail Valley -- attract a certain type of person. Our local population comes from everywhere, and a few are fortunate to have been raised here. Collectively, we're drawn to the mountains and to the quality of life that exists in the Vail Valley. We know that living in the mountains can be challenging, and we accept that doing business in a seasonal rural resort economy presents even more challenges. Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) 2014-15 Passenger Survey Final Report - Vail Valley Partnership

This report provides an overview of the results of the Winter 2014/15 Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) passenger survey, sponsored by the EGE Air Alliance. The survey was coordinated and administered by RRC Associates of Boulder, Colorado. This is the first such comprehensive study of EGE passengers undertaken by the EGE Air Alliance. The EGE Passenger Survey is intended to assist the sponsoring stakeholders to gain a better understanding of airport users’ travel patterns, experiential feedback, expenditures and value to the local community, while also allowing travel patterns and trends to be tracked over time. The study also documents the importance of air service and the airport to the Vail Valley, with a primary focus of the research being to estimate the economic impact of the winter air service program on the local community. Summer Houston Flights return to Eagle County Regional Airport for 2015 - Vail Valley Partnership

The EGE Air Alliance today announced the continuation of summer service operated by United Airlines from Houston (IAH) to Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) three days a week for summer 2015. The nonstop flights will operate from Houston to EGE Thursday, Saturday and Sunday with southbound service from EGE to Houston on Friday, Sunday and Monday.
