The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce has made the decision to focus sales on the members paying $1500 and up and to sell membership based on Action Team Participation (Energy, Healthcare, and Education and Talent). Minimum dues for participation in Action Teams are $3-5k with Steering Committee seat by invitation and at $10k. New member sales are up significantly this year.
The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce has released a hilarious promotional video highlighting some of the main reasons entrepreneurs move to Chattanooga. The video is part of a promotion called Chattanooga Perfect, which features the "independent spirit" of the city and why great companies choose to call Chattanooga home.
The 2014 Hear Lincoln Summer Concert Series brought life to downtown Lincoln. The 10-week concert series provided the city with a showcase of music from well-known Lincoln musicians as well as up-and-coming local talent. The Lincoln Chamber promoted the series with the creation of branded t-shirts, surprise-and-delight sidewalk clings, banners and food trucks. Prior to the series the Chamber also implemented a four-month digital media campaign using YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and email marketing initiatives. Most importantly, the Chamber rallied the Lincoln Young Professionals Group and the downtown Lincoln business community to get involved with the summer-long event.
Working through ACCE, Google selected Missoula as one of six cities to launch its "Put Your Cities on the Map" campaign to ensure businesses have an accurate online presence. This postcard announces the Chamber’s partnership with Google and was sent it to all 7,500 businesses in Missoula. The postcard highlight tools the chamber provides to all businesses at no charge (our advocacy website, Tools for Business Success and our monthly safety training sessions) and provides contact information for those interested in having an online presence. The results of the campaign were impressive:
