ACCE Divisions

There's no graduate degree in chamber of commerce work, but regularly exchanging information with peers is essential to your professional growth. ACCE Divisions are forums where chamber professionals connect with their counterparts from across the country. Divisions are organized by job specialty. Click on a Division below for information on joining. 

You may find other groups of lobbyists, sales reps or marketing practitioners, but only ACCE Divisions connect you with people who, just like you, face the unique challenges of chamber work.

Community Member—No expectations, just opportunities

Council MemberDeeper connections for chamber veterans

Want more from your professional network? Build deep connections with experienced chamber leaders in a Division Council. Get all the benefits of community membership plus:

Council participation is free, but with one caveat: you must be active. Division councils function best when members feel responsible for helping each other. That means answering surveys, responding to questions, sharing sample documents, and participating on conference calls. Expect to give as much as you get.

Council Membership in an ACCE Division is open to CEOs and senior staff. Individuals may join only one council. Enrollment is limited; you may be waitlisted.

Advisory Board MemberShape the work of your national association

When you're ready to volunteer your time, energy and expertise to the profession, join the association's leadership ranks on a Division Advisory Board. Engage with ACCE staff to:

  • Plan educational programs
  • Expand information resources
  • Judge award entries
  • Identify trends
  • Develop new resources

You must be an active Division Council Member to be considered for an Advisory Board position. Enrollment is limited. Contact the Division Chair and/or ACCE staff liaison to let them know you'd like to be considered.
