2016 Awards for Communication Excellence
Congratulations, ACE winners!
The results are in! After receiving and reviewing nearly 200 entries, ACCE is pleased to announce and celebrate the winners of the 2016 Awards for Communication Excellence competition.
A panel of six chamber of commerce and marketing & communications professionals convened in June to evaluate a near-record number of entries in this year’s Awards for Communication Excellence competition.
Submissions came from the United States and Canada, from 100 organizations in 36 states and two provinces.
“A chamber communicates not only to its business community, but also to the entire town, city or region it serves,” says Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives President and CEO Mick Fleming. “These annual awards recognize the varied communication excellence of chambers going about their work coordinating efforts that benefit their communities.”
Awards for Communication Excellence entries are accepted in four categories: advertising and marketing, campaigns, electronic, and publications. Entries are grouped by class, based on the organization’s annual budget – Class One entries come from organizations with an annual budget above $1 million and Class Two entries come from organizations with an annual budget below $1 million.
Judges awarded nine Grand Awards in 2016 and 36 Awards of Excellence. Two Best in Show winners – one Class One entry and one Class Two entry – will be announced at ACCE’s annual convention in Savannah, Ga., August 9–12.
