Jay Byers, CCE, CEO of the Greater Des Moines Partnership and a member of the ACCE Board of the Directors, has been elected to serve a three-year term on the World Chambers Federation (WCF) General Council. The Council, comprised of 50 members from transnational, national, regional, local, public and private law chambers, is responsible for determining the policies and programs of WCF. Members of chambers from all over the world voted to fill 20 seats on the WCF General Council.
Mick Fleming, president of ACCE, serves on the executive committee of the WCF, a non-political, non-governmental body which unites a global network of 12,000 chambers and their business communities.
