ACCE’s 2013-14 Chamber Operations Survey is under way. Chambers of commerce use the survey data for strategic planning, benchmarking and comparisons with other chambers of similar size. Responses are due March 3.
It was announced today that ReadyNation, currently a project of America’s Promise Alliance, will merge later this month with America’s Edge, a project of the Council for a Strong America.

Jay Byers, CCE, CEO of the Greater Des Moines Partnership and a member of the ACCE Board of the Directors, has been elected to serve a three-year term on the World Chambers Federation (WCF) General Council. The Council, comprised of 50 members from transnational, national, regional, local, public and private law chambers, is responsible for determining the policies and programs of WCF. Members of chambers from all over the world voted to fill 20 seats on the WCF General Council.
The American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) has joined a promising initiative led by Lumina Foundation to increase postsecondary education attainment. The initiative involves 20 U.S. communities and connects them with significant technical and planning assistance, data tools, flexible funding, and access to a powerful network of national thought-leadership organizations, including ACCE, that will provide guidance as they develop goals and action plans.
