Programs and Events

Chambers of commerce rely on meetings, events and programs to create business networking opportunities, deliver professional development, strengthen community ties and raise non-dues revenue.

Chambers adapted during the COVID-19 pandemic, creating virtual and hybrid meetings and events to help businesses navigate the crisis, understand crucial relief programs and rally the community to support local businesses and restaurants.

Time will tell how this experimentation with technology and new meeting formats will impact how chambers convene stakeholders moving forward. While many members are eager to get back to large-scale, in-person events, there is also feedback that some meetings and programs were as effective or more effective in a virtual format.
