The Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to utilizing a professional Membership Sales Staff as the primary avenue of generating new members and member revenue. The Account Executive's primary responsibility is to sell new membership investments and Board of Advisors upgrades in the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce. The Account Executive will work assigned, pre-bill and delinquent accounts to maximize membership investment and minimize member deletion.
The Director of Member Relations directs the efforts and programs relative to member relations and involvement, including direct contact with members; assists the Vice President of Membership in the planning, marketing and implementation of member programs as directed. The Director is to keep the Vice President fully aware of all activities and the progress of each project.
The receptionist is responsible to the Director of Member Relations and is responsible for the operation of the master telephone console for the general offices and for providing assistance and general information to Chamber visitors.
The primary responsibilities are those of organizing and staffing Department activities and working with various committees and task forces of the Membership Department. The Administrative Assistant must establish with the Vice President of Membership and the Director of Member Relations the priorities for projects, committees, task forces and programs.
The Vice President of Membership reports to the Executive Vice President and oversees the programs, committees and task forces of the Membership Department to develop and maintain membership related resources through new member growth, Board of Advisors growth, retention of existing members, membership services, and non-dues related products and services.
