Every year the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Marketing & Communications Department produces four issues of VOICE, a quarterly print publication. This in-house developed piece is sent to all L.A. Area Chamber members, elected officials, local chambers of commerce in L.A. County and media in the L.A. region. SYNOPSIS:

Every year the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Marketing & Communications Department produces four issues of VOICE, a quarterly print publication. This in-house developed piece is sent to all L.A. Area Chamber members, elected officials, local chambers of commerce in L.A. County and media in the L.A. region. It is used as a marketing tool to promote the Chamber, Los Angeles and business in the area.

In each issue of VOICE we touch upon our achievements in advocacy, programs and resources. We also highlight our member companies and Board members.

Throughout the year we received acknowledgement and praise from Chamber members about VOICE, including some members who sought to use elements of our concept and design for their own pieces.

In 2013, the Chamber celebrated its 125th anniversary. To commemorate that achievement, we focused each VOICE on an element of our long-standing presence in the community, from our history to the strength of our advocacy.

We pride ourselves on being “Bold in Business,” which was our theme throughout the year. Our goal was to show how the Chamber not only helped business but also the entire community in its 125 years of existence in Los Angeles. Each issue of VOICE in 2013 aimed to share and educate both Chamber members and non-members on the power of the Chamber in the community.

VOICE themes for 2013:

  • First quarter: Bold in Business for 125 years
  • Second quarter: Bold in Innovation
  • Third quarter: Bold in Traditions
  • Fourth quarter: By the Numbers

It costs the Chamber $10,500 to print and distribute each issue of VOICE. The Chamber sells advertising and provides advertisement space to Chamber Diamond Club members on a rotating basis.
