Chambers of Commerce are well-known for their variety of events. Celebrating milestones for chamber anniversaries is another way to promote community-building through historical memories. See examples of chamber anniversaries below.
The American Canyon Chamber of Commerce (Calif.) celebrated its 20th anniversary with a Roaring Twenties-themed annual installation dinner held at the DoubleTree by Hilton. Guests wore flapper dresses and fedoras, the Caravan of All-Stars blues band provided accompaniment, and the Leonardo DiCaprio movie, "The Great Gatsby," projected on the back wall. The Kinston-Lenoir Chamber of Commerce (N.C.) celebrated 100 years of leading the way in Kinston and Lenoir County. The centennial year was filled with a variety of events, including a Centennial Celebration Gala; BBQ Festival; 100 years of progress timeline display at the annual Living the Good Life Expo; exhibit of memorabilia display at the Community Council for the Arts; and 100th Anniversary celebration, ribbon cutting and time capsule ceremony at the new Centennial Park. The Modesto Chamber of Commerce (Calif.) celebrated 100 years of continuous service with an elite Gala Celebration of the organization’s centennial featuring incredible food, great performances by YES Company and annual award presentations for standout Chamber members. A special section of the show was set aside for the unveiling of "Through the Arch," a painting commissioned from local artist Rebecca Murphy in commemoration of the Chamber’s history in the area. The Waterbury Regional Chamber (Conn.) recognized its 125th anniversary in 2015 with a "Chamberopoly" celebration. The event included food and drink, a spin on the prize wheel, a try at the dice game, and raffle tickets. This 'fun raising' event also served as a fund raiser with a portion of the proceeds going toward refurbishing the "Colley Clock" on the Green.

Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce (Md.) celebrated their 10,000 event attendee in the past five years at their Business Networking After Five Event, held on June 18, 2015. The milestone was celebrated with balloons, games, door prizes and networking at the mixer held at BrightFocus Foundation, and the 10,000 attendee was presented with the Chamber’s version of a "10,000 Grand" candy bar to commemorate the moment.
