#ACCE25 Scholarship Recipients Announced

ACCE congratulates the following individuals who have been named recipients of a scholarship to attend ACCE's Annual Convention, presented by Comcast Business. This year's event will meet in Philadelphia, July 22-25. 

• Tracy E. Lyons, Executive Director, Lexington-Rockbridge Co. Chamber of Commerce (Va.)
• Kristen Boyce, Executive Assistant, Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce (N.J.)
• Dana Wooten, President & CEO, Clayton Chamber of Commerce (N.C.)
• Angie Clifford, CEO, Northmont Area Chamber of Commerce, Englewood (Ohio)
• Candace Carnahan, President & CEO, Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce (Colo.)

ACCE was honored to present the Mick Fleming Memorial Scholarship to Dana Wooten, president & CEO of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce (N.C.). This scholarship honors the legacy of Mick Fleming, ACCE’s former president & CEO, who passed away in 2024. It supports chamber professionals dedicated to leadership, innovation and community impact, reflecting Mick’s lifelong passion for strengthening chambers of commerce and driving positive change in local and regional economies.

Scholarship applicants were required to submit an application, answering questions on their professional goals and how attending the convention will help advance those goals. In addition, applicants had to explain, from their perspective, what their chamber needs to do over the next three to five years to remain relevant to its members and make a difference in the community.
