Introducing ACCE’s Horizon 2035 Report

The role of chambers has never been more crucial. Starting today, we are launching Horizon 2035, a year’s worth of new research and practical tools to help your chamber plan for a more effective and impactful future. This report and supporting materials outline the major influences shaping the next 10 years, which will impact not only chambers of commerce, but the businesses and communities we serve.

This first release introduces the influences and showcases supporting data and chamber examples to highlight real-world applications. We’ve organized the influences into three spheres:

• Linchpin influences - fundamental to chambers' role as trusted community leaders
• Timeless influences that every generation of chamber leaders face
• Timely influences - highly relevant now, and likely critical in the future

Each of these influences create both challenges and opportunities. There is no silver bullet way to address any of them. Smart chamber leaders must create targeted strategies based on their community’s needs and social dynamics.
