- The Maui Chamber launched a housing survey to provide policymakers, planners, and home builders with detailed data to ensure that upcoming housing projects align with resident needs.
- The Florida Chamber Foundation is expanding its Florida Prosperity Initiative’s efforts to cut Florida childhood poverty in half with the recent hiring of Heather Cogar as the Initiative’s Statewide Director of Community Engagement.
- The Park City Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau, in partnership with Mountainlands Community Housing Trust, Rossignol, JANS, and Fishwest, has launched the third year of its Workforce Employer Rental Incentive Program. The initiative is designed to help address affordable housing challenges in the area by incentivizing landlords to rent to local seasonal and year-round employees.
- The Greater Sudbury Chamber recently met with the mayor and chief of police to call for urgent action to deal with open drug use, public disorder, harassment, break and enters, theft, property damage and unsanitary conditions downtown.
- The Springfield Area Chamber announced the awardees of the Springfield Chamber Foundation‘s 2025 Career and Technical Education (CTE) grant. The grant provides targeted support to help Lane County students build skills in high-demand fields. Grants cover costs such as tools, equipment, and program materials, with a focus on projects that offer long-term, hands-on learning opportunities.
- Minnesota Chamber and BMO announced the four finalists for the manufacturing competition “Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota.” The winner will be announced on October 7 at the chamber’s 2025 Manufacturers’ Summit.
- The Salt Lake Chamber announced the creation of the Utah Chamber. This statewide organization will unite the voice of Utah businesses, local chambers and industry associations to build a stronger business environment, increase healthy job creation and support prosperous communities across the state.
- The Arizona Hispanic Chamber released its 29th annual DATOS report, a comprehensive analysis focused on the state’s Hispanic residents and the issues affecting them. According to the report, Hispanic residents make up 32% or the state’s population and represent $72 billion in purchasing power.
- Bowling Green Area Chamber President & CEO Ron Bunch was inducted into the Southern Economic Development Hall of Fame in recognition of his success in attracting investment, creating jobs and building stronger communities.
- The Orlando Economic Partnership welcomed the Public Leadership Institute’s inaugural class of the Civic Leadership Track strengthening its commitment to building the next generation of public leaders and policy influencers in Central Florida. This new track focuses on senior executives who want to shape public policy without running for elected office.
