Propel: A Program to Support New Chamber CEOs

ACCE's Horizon 2035 research identified leadership churn as a significant challenge in the years ahead. We continue to monitor how turnover of chamber CEOs, key staff, and volunteer business executives are impacting organizational stability.
New chamber CEOs can face a steep learning curve. ACCE launched a program last year to support those stepping into the CEO role for the first time. The Propel program provides new CEOs with the tools, connections and insights to succeed by providing targeted professional development, mentorship and coaching along with peer engagement through a learning cohort.
We have limited spots available for a new cohort of new CEOs. The program cost is $300, and all chamber CEOs who have been in their role for less than 18 months as of January 2026 are eligible to apply. The application deadline is February 20. Learn more and apply online here.
