New Opportunity: Strengthen Your Rural Talent Pipeline

Education and Talent / April 30, 2026

Rural communities need strong talent pathways that connect education to real jobs and real economic opportunity. Chambers are uniquely positioned to lead that work.

The ACCE Foundation, in partnership with ECMC Foundation, is launching the Rural Postsecondary Attainment & Ecosystem Alignment Program to help chambers convene employers, educators and workforce partners around a shared strategy for talent growth.

Selected chambers will receive:

  • $15,000 subgrant funding
  • Expert coaching and technical assistance
  • A cohort of peers tackling similar challenges
  • Tools to lead a local action-planning process
  • A roadmap to improve postsecondary completion and workforce outcomes

This is a practical program to address workforce shortages, strengthen regional competitiveness and help more residents access quality careers. Applications are due May 15 at 5 p.m. ET. If your chamber serves a rural or rural-serving community, apply today
