  • The Westminster Chamber launched Business Launchpad, an incubator program designed to foster entrepreneurship, drive economic growth and support small businesses in the community. Launched in partnership with real estate management firm Sherman Associates, the incubator will be housed in Sherman’s Ascent mixed-use development.
  • The Peoria Area Chamber revealed a new brand with an open design and vibrant colors meant to feel inclusive and welcoming while giving the chamber a fresh and modern look.
  • The Eugene Area Chamber launched Elevate 2028, a five-year regional economic and community development initiative. ​It is designed to tackle pressing issues such as a challenging business climate, talent retention, inadequate housing, childcare shortages and homelessness. It aims to transform the region into a beacon of opportunity and innovation, fostering an environment where businesses can grow and thrive.
  • With the holidays approaching, the Brooklyn Chamber continues to grow its Brooklyn Made Store. This project aims to leverage Brooklyn as a brand while providing independent makers with a forum to showcase their products. Two years after its launch, the Brooklyn Made Store operates two stores and a thriving e-commerce platform.
  • The Greenwood Chamber is launching a new program called Welcome Home to Greenwood, which will welcome new residents to the community with coupons and deals to area businesses.
  • The Billings Chamber hosted a Welcome to Billings event for new residents. The event is designed to help new residents learn more about the community and find the connections and activities that will create a sense of belonging and make them more likely to stay in the region. The chamber will continue hosting this event two times each year.
  • Greater Sarasota Chamber CEO Heather Kasten outlined a series of recommendations to address housing affordability and availability in the region. The recommendations were developed by the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.
  • A recent Dayton Area Chamber survey of local businesses identified their top policy concerns, including controlling inflation, strengthening pro-business economic policies and curbing overregulation. The survey results inform the chamber’s policy agenda.
  • The Savannah Area Chamber released its policy agenda, which has an emphasis on workforce, public safety, business climate and infrastructure.
  • The city of Santa Barbara is considering a formal financial partnership with the Santa Barbara South Coast Chamber to create an economic development plan. The partnership would develop new economic policies to improve the local economy, create jobs and revitalize downtown.  
  • The Vegas Chamber announced plans to move its headquarters next year to become an anchor tenant in the new City of Las Vegas Civic Plaza. The move will bring the business community in closer proximity to local government with the hopes of sparking new relationships and partnerships to benefit employers and entrepreneurs.
